Delivering baby at 35 weeks.?
If you have your baby at 35 weeks, would that be considered two weeks early since 37
weeks is considered full term? Also I have heard a baby 35 weeks is usually only about 4 pounds. Did you deliver at 35 weeks and how much did your baby weigh?
a baby born at 35 weeks would be considered either 4 or 5 weeks early, each dr does it differently. my dr with my first baby would consider it 5 weeks early but my dr i have now would consider it 4 weeks early, and babies born at this point could be anywhere between 4 and 7 lbs. my niece was born at 36 weeks and was 6lbs5oz and my other niece was born at 33 weeks and was 6lbs3oz, so each baby is different. and 37 weeks is actually not considered FULL term, its considered acceptable to deliver, but 39 weeks is optimal time.
